Bouchards Late Goal Secures Victory

Canucks Edge Oilers in Game 3

Bouchard's Late Goal Secures Victory

Vancouver Takes 2-1 Series Lead

Edmonton, Alberta - Evan Bouchard's game-winning goal with less than seven minutes remaining lifted the Vancouver Canucks to a 4-3 victory over the Edmonton Oilers in Game 3 of their second-round playoff series.

The Oilers, who had won the previous game, fought back from a 2-0 deficit to tie the score at 3-3. However, Bouchard's shot from the point found its way through traffic and past Oilers goaltender Mikko Koskinen, giving the Canucks the lead with just 381 seconds left on the clock.

The Canucks held on to their one-goal advantage and now take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series. Game 4 will be played on Tuesday in Edmonton.
